WAF EXPELS EUROPE

In an unprecedented move Mr. Barij Baron Das, General Secretary of WAF has expelled the European Armsport Federation from WAF membership.

It seems to this editor that this is a classic case of shooting oneself in the foot. There is great dissatisfaction of WAF members regarding the lack of Democracy and leadership from the General Secretary and President. It would seem to us that now would be the time for creative leadership and working toward our common goals. Both Fred Roy, President of the Canadian Armwrestling Federation and Igor Akhmedshin, President of the Russian Armwrestling Federation and E.A.F. have shown this leadership and we must look to them for new direction.
