A week ago Canadian Darrell Belyk, Champion at the World Armsport Tournament in Japan, was contacted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta and N.W.T. to do an autograph session for their fund raiser. He has just returned home and tells us about his great experience. He signed hundreds of photographs and T-shirts and was accompanied by 2 players from the Calgary Flames, one player from the Calgary Stampeders , two of the Stampeder Cheerleaders and a sports broadcaster from the A-Channel. They raised $18,000 for the cause. He is now talking to the Hard Rock Cafe in Calgary to be a possible runway model for a fundraiser for his high school he graduated from some years ago.
