Belgium Armwrestling Challenge 2000

Dear Wrestlers,

United States ArmSports would like to invite you to attend the 10th Annual International Armwrestling Challenge in Rochefort, Belgium July 26, 2000 thru July 30, 2000.  You may attend this tournament with this invitation only and be a member of Team USA Armwrestling 2000. We will be leaving on Wednesday July 24th and return on Thursday August 2nd, 2000.  This tournament is a wonderful event and is made even more exciting in that this will be the largest team from the U.S. to ever attend.  The total cost for this trip including airfare (from your nearest airport), health insurance, Room & Board, and entry fees will be less than $2000.  Your $250 deposit is due on April 30th to insure you have a spot on the Team.   We are all working together to make our time there an exceptional experience.  All arrangements for this trip will be handled by the United States Armwrestling Association.  Rochefort, Belgium is a "fairy tale village" where Dave Devoto spent 3 days in August 1997 at this tournament and we had a small team represented in 1998.  the trip was one of the most enjoyable times he had ever experienced and the tournament was filled with great people and wonderful hospitality. Last year we sent a small team and this year we are opening up the Team for all who wish to attend.   Over 200 contestants and 14 countries attend.  This year we will have a great Team USA with many exceptional athletes to compete in this tournament.  The "I support" program of selling T-shirts & sweatshirts is available for this tournament and the gear will have the United States ArmSports logo printed on them.  This program makes it easy for anyone who would like to attend to earn the money.  Attached to this invitation is an "I Support" order form to get you started . Official Team Gear with the United States ArmSports logo will be available when you have sent in your deposit.  ONLY ACTUAL TEAM MEMBERS may purchase and wear Team Gear.  Also attached to this letter of invitation is the tournament information so you can make plans as to which weight classes you may want to prepare for.

This tournament and the "Gold Bear" International Armwrestling Championships, are wonderful opportunities to compete in exceptional tournaments and also see parts of the World you may never have the opportunity to see.  We always have a great time and make life-long friends with other Americans and those from many other countries.  Dave Devoto, President of the World's Wristwrestling Championships and Leonard Harkless, President of the United States Armwrestling Assoc. encourage you to attend this tournament and be a part of Team USA.  Denise Wattles will be the Team Manager organizing all the arrangements for your flights and accommodations.  If you have any questions you can call Denise at (406)248-4508. TEAM USA Armwrestling-Belgium REQUIREMENTS:

1. Official Team Gear must be worn while competing or attending the 2000 International Armwrestling Challenge.

2. Health Insurance will be required for the period that we will be in Belgium.. We will purchase this coverage for you. The Insurance cost (approx. $60) is included in the $2000.

3. I understand that I am responsible and liable for any costs or penalties incurred if I decide at a later date to not attend the 10th Annual International Armwrestling Challenge in Rochefort, Belgium.
