It was a packed agenda with the some of the top names in European armwrestling attending. The <80 Kg men's right was a particularly unbelievable category with arguably 5 of the best pullers in the world at this weight going at it head to head. It produced some breath taking battles - the best being between Neil Pickup (British Champion and silver and bronze World medallist) and Bill Frank (6 times German National Champion). Former world champion, 'Rambo' Rod Lennette and Switzerland's legend Pascal Girard were also involved in an incredible war.

Next year's event promises to be even bigger and will be held on Sat 27 - Sun 28 May 2000 again at The Oaktree in Blackburn, England.
