WHERE: Prince Albert Sk. Located 142km north of Saskatoon, SK along the mighty North Saskatchewan river, surrounded to the south by rolling farmland and to the North with forests and lakes. Waskesiu, a beautiful National Park is only 72km North of Prince Albert and definitely worth a visit.

Amenities: The SAWA is offering a shuttle service for the 75 minute ride during the competition weekend from Saskatoon to Prince Albert and return to Saskatoon after the tournament. For those who would like to drive and see some of the country side, Regina, SK. Is 4 hours away via #6 Hiway; Edmonton, Alta. Is 6 hours away; Calgary, Alta. Is 8 hours away and Winnepeg Manitoba is 10 hours away. We are offering shuttle service from Saskatoon.only.

Tell them you are with the armwrestling group for the $65.00 sports rate for up to 5 people. As always, we ask that you book as soon as possible to help facilitate all the accommodations. There is a block of rooms available for the CAWF tournie and we’d like to fill them as

soon as possible. You can also view the Banquet and Convention center via the net site at which all the Masters, Youth, Disabled finals and preliminary open classes will be held. The quarter finals for the open classes will be held at the Northern Lights Casino

 on Sunday evening at 19:00. The Northern Lights Casino boasts one of the finest video recording and sound boards in Western Canada. The quarter finals will be recorded and available for sale. The P.A. Inn and Casino are connected by a boardwalk. The Convention Center is 1 block away. There are several other hotels close by once we fill the host hotel.

We are offering all of the following weight classes:

MEN'S: right & left… 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 100 and 110+ kg.

WOMEN'S: right & left… 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 80 and 80+ kg

MASTERS 40 yrs +: men, left and right.. 70,80,90, 100 and 100+kg

: women, left and right.. 60,70,80 and 80+kg

GRAND MASTERS 50yrs +: men only, right hand only.. 75,90 and 90+kg

HANDICAP CLASSES: as required

YOUTH CATEGORIES: right hand only, 17 yrs and under.. 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 70+ kg

Weigh ins for Saturday competition start at13:00, Fri, Aug 31 – 21:00, Fri, Aug 31 and 09:00, Sat, Sept1 – 12 :00. Competition will begin at 13:00 sharp!

Weigh Ins for Sunday competition start at 09:00 Sat, Sept1- 21:00, Sat, Sept1 and for 2 hours, Sun, Sept. 2, 07:00-09:00. Competition will begin at 10:00, Sun, Sept2 and go until we reach quarter finals. We are scheduling to have the finals at the Northern Lights Casino beginning at 19:00. ALL WEIGH INS ARE AT THE P.A. INN. 4 tables will be set up to run these events and they will be manned by CAWF sanctioned referees.

ITINERARY:

Once all participants have arrived and are settled, we will begin the opening ceremonies at 12:15, Sat,Sept 1, Competition will start @ 13:00 and continue until we are finished, all at the Convention Center. Awards will be presented that afternoon.

The CAWF Annual Congress meeting will be at the P.A. Inn, from 09:00 –11:00, Sat, Sept 1/01
