If you missed the NAA tournament on the 18th you missed some good challenge matches.

Gabe Accardi beat Simon Berriochoa from CA 3 straight matches.  Norm Devio beat Floria Dutra from Brazil 3 to 2 in 5 of the toughest matches I have seen in awhile, tough to get old.  Cindy Looney beat Elaine Blik from Idaho 3 to 0 or 3 to 1, not sure.  Chris Coletti from FL beat Benjie Dwyer from NY 3-2 in some close matches.  Michael Todd from  AK beat Marcio Barboza from Brazil 3-1 right hand and beat John Ruggerio from NY 3-1 left hand.  The rest of the results are posted on the Northeast Board.

There are clips of the event on Arm TV.

I don't know if anyone saw it but I did an interview on New England Cable News(NECN) about Armwrestling, it's growth and what it is like to compete.  The Boston Globe did a nice article on the Cape Cod Challenge at Smitty's Sports Pub with pictures and they also did an online segment with pictures of Carlos Beltran, Carl Schmeichel, Mike Skinner, Roger LeBlanc, James Patterson Jr and a few others. Here is a link to the article.    Check it out.   http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2006/02/23/for_wrestlers_a_call_to_arms/?page=full

There seems to be a lot more money events posted for 2006.  Mike Gould's event is paying out $20,000.00.  John Burgesson has an event in Vegas for $36,000.00.  There is also an event in Kansas City for big money.  You can fine more info on these events on the USA site.  There also appears to be much better money for the Ladies so far this year.  If you can make any of these events be sure to attend.
