2005

We would like to wish Team USA Good Luck at the World Championship in Japan.  At last count we had 34 on the team.   I received an e-mail from Fred Roy and he said that they had 30 plus countries teams registered as of now.  Bill Collins has done a super job getting the USA team set up and ready to go.

Denise has said that she will try to post results on the Northeast Board whenever she has a chance.  I know that she will be very busy with all the meetings she to attend plus the time she spends with the team.  Just be patient and keep watching the Board.

The NAA Challenge that Peter Milano and James Retarides put together went very well.  The  super matches were fun to watch.  In case anyone missed the excitement Jerry Cadorette beat Travis Bagent  3-1  in the best of 5 matches, he also won $15,000.  Congratulations Jerry.  The results are posted on the Northeast Board and also the video's are on ArmTV.  If you are not a member of Arm TV you should join, it is well worth the price.  James and Pete will be having another tournament in February with some more Super Matches.  Other Super matches were Benjie Dwyer & Chris Gobby with Benjie winning 3-2.  Denis Debruil and Rob Vigeant Jr, with Denis winning 3-1.  There was a 4 way match that was won by Tom Nelson from California.

The points have been totaled for the year and the Points Champion for 2005 is Cindy Looney from CT.  This has been a good year for Cindy, what with her TV appearance at the Mohegan Sun event and also winning events in just about every New England state.   Don't forget to congratulate Cindy when you see her.  On another note not all the ballots have been returned yet for armwrestler of the year.  Your vote counts but only if you send it back.  The deadline for ballots to be returned is December 15th.
